We are proud to share that the graduation film Under the Open Sky, created by students of Annapurna College of Film and Media, has been officially selected for the Jagran Film Festival 2025, India’s largest travelling film festival. 🎬✨
Directed and written by Parag Jawade, the film is a tender portrayal of friendship, innocence, and the fragile emotions of growing up. Set in a small town, Under the Open Sky follows two 14-year-old boys — Surya and Sai — whose world of laughter, secrets, and simple joys is tested by jealousy, misunderstanding, and healing. It is a heartfelt story that reminds us how friendships falter and mend under life’s open sky.
🎞 Cast: Charan Kasala, Yennu Rithwik, Bhavyasri Kodimela, Srividya Sasar, Dr Sharadha Sharan, Prabhakar, and the students of ZPHS Venkataipally.
