🌊 Chayachitram Selected for the Jagran Film Festival 2025!

We are proud to share that the graduation film Chayachitram, made by the talented students of Annapurna College of Film and Media, has been officially selected for the Jagran Film Festival 2025 — India’s largest travelling film festival that celebrates “Good Cinema for Everyone.” 🎬✨

Written and directed by K Sai Sreenivas Chowdary, Chayachitram is a tender tale of memory, loss, love, and the innocent yearning of a child to know his mother’s face. Set in a tranquil riverside village, it follows Suri, an 11-year-old boy whose playful mischief hides a quiet void — he has never seen a photograph of his late mother, Chaya. When a kind shopkeeper, Siva, offers him the torn half of an old photograph, Suri finally glimpses the face he has longed for, finding comfort and closure in the most unexpected way.
