Annapurna College of Film and Media proudly celebrates the accomplishments of its alumna, Aishwarya Ladole, MA Filmmaking Batch 2020-22, who recently worked as Assistant Production Sound Mixer on the highly acclaimed series Rana Naidu Season 2. Sound is a vital element in filmmaking, especially in action-packed productions that demand precision, clarity, and creative finesse.

Bhamakalapam is a heartfelt coming-of-age tale that celebrates courage, tradition, and the power of reclaiming forgotten voices. The story begins with Bhumi, a spirited young girl in a village, captivated by a Tholubommalata puppet show recounting the legendary tale of Narakasura. While the crowd hails Krishna as the hero, Bhumi is moved by the bravery of Satyabhama, Krishna’s wife, who also fought in the battle.

Ubaal is a slice-of-life drama soaked in nostalgia, gentle humour, and emotional undercurrents. It’s less about what happens and more about what lingers—in a mother’s off-hand comment, a father’s stubborn optimism, and a son’s silent observations. Nishant, 22, returns to his small-town home after two years in the city. The dusty train station, familiar chai stalls, and the aroma of fresh samosas stir a wave of memories—comforting yet distant.
