ACFM Alumnus Sarang Sameer Pande Shines as Assistant Editor in Tehran

Annapurna College of Film and Media proudly celebrates the achievements of its alumnus, Sarang Sameer Pande, BA Hons. Direction + Editing, Batch 2020–2023, who recently contributed as Assistant Editor to the critically acclaimed film Tehran, which premiered on ZEE5 on 14th August.
Editing is a cornerstone of storytelling in cinema, shaping narrative flow, pacing, and emotional resonance. Sarang’s role as Assistant Editor was pivotal in crafting the seamless visual rhythm of Tehran, ensuring that the story’s tension, drama, and character arcs were communicated with precision and impact. Collaborating closely with the film’s editorial team, Sarang navigated complex sequences and high-pressure deadlines, demonstrating both technical skill and creative vision.
Reflecting on his experience, Sarang shared, “Working on Tehran has been an incredible journey. Being part of a talented team that transformed the script into a compelling visual experience has honed my skills and deepened my understanding of cinematic storytelling.”
